The Critical Slide Society (TCSS) is a creative apparel label that celebrates an emerging alternative movement within surf culture: one that’s less about the winner’s podium and more about the simple joy of a deeply engaged surfing life.
Brief: TCSS commissioned Always Studio for a number of customised typographic artworks that would be primarily t-shirt prints, as well as point of sale advertising, across Australia and Asia.
Idea: Taking inspiration from vintage typography, cocktails, Brain Brown, poolside bars and urban grunge undertones, the artwork at times is a visual discussion about the yin and yang of a tropical holiday paradise.
